Minor Issue with AI Eye and Mining

I think I found an issue with the AI and mining. 

If you move the AI eye on top of the mining asteroid and the miners call for a new asteroid, your game will crash. Then, when you log back in, you will be an observer instead of an AI. 

Can somebody reproduce this?

Semi-related: the asteroid at the magnet causes a lot of issues with the static overlay in general.
