On a side note, it's kinda weird that plasma giants don't just blow up due to internal pressure or comet strikes. I thought it'd be neat to set off a canbomb in one but I guess it'd do jack all in comparison. A hellburn powered PTL otoh... Hmm.

My theory is we are in some sort of time loop and that some individuals might also be aware of this

A warning for the future, I think. In game year is always 2053... though the older stations we played on ten years ago, might as well assume those were in the past. Old assets are used in current derelicts to suggest that ye olde stations have been out there for years.
