hotkey for the borg's omnitool

clicking it to change the tool is much too cumbersome and i think having a hotkey to switch tools would alleviate this

you mean switch to respective tools with number hotkeys (ie 1=crowbar, 2=screwdriver, etc)?
if not, then you can just press C to cycle through them if you use the WASD layout.

its called page down or C or whatever. hud button would be harder to click anyway

You mean like here?

Regarding the interaction in general, this felt significantly better than having some sort of list pop up every time you wanted to switch it to a different tool. Aside from a sprite change (which I'll do at some point, Thanksgiving stuff is eating time at the moment) and potentially removing the chat message when you cycle (because the icon feedback is basically instant) I would consider the omnitool complete and a big success.
