Reagent-coated weapons
#1
Iama Crook attacks Pubbie McShitlorde with the neurotoxin-coated shard!
Pubbie McShitlorde drools!

Might have to be weaker than a syringe for balance purposes though. Maybe it would put one unit of the chemical into the victim's blood stream instead of the syringe's five units. Would also love to see the rage from a cryostylane-coated shard.

should require gloves.

Every method of putting chemicals in somebody, no matter how many chemicals, requires time. From injecting, to pill'ing, to droppering. The only people that can instantly stuff something inside someone are traitors, with syringe guns or emagged hyposprays. Since a large number of chemicals can have big effects with just a little drop, this seems unbelievably unbalanced. Welcome to Chemist Station 13, where you never ever fuck with a chemist or he will roll you hardcore.

But this sounds like how goonstation already is...

This could be balanced by having it take several hits before it actually applies any chemicals? Might not make any sense from a realism standpoint but neither does anything else so idk

Alternatively, you could have a VERY negligible amount transfer (0.1), and only if the target has accumulated at least 30 brute damage ( - has open wounds). This would be balanced.

And pointless.

This idea cannot work.

You can use pro puffs too.

I really don't think this would work very well.
