Antifreeze!
You make it by reacting welding fuel (a more available stand-in for ethylene) and water with silver.
Antifreeze has many uses. You can splash it on ice to melt it. You can splash it on people in ice cubes to free them. You can also drink it. It tastes sweet (so it can be slipped into drinks) and causes major TOX damage. When in your system, it counteracts the slow and stamina penalty when you’re freezing cold.
The antidote for ethylene glycol is, of course, alcohol. Alcohol neutralizes antifreeze. So if you’re poisoned, all you need to do is get smashed!
I think this would be a fun chem and I’ll look into adding it.
