This happened to me recently and Darkchis said to post it here, so
As a wraith, if you possess an item and then put it in a chute, it gives you the 'no longer possessing an item' message but you go to an empty black void and get stuck there. This is kind of a problem.
To reproduce:
1. Be a wraith
2. Possess a thing
3. Put thing in a disposals chute while still possessing it
