i think it would be neat if for the changeling since the idea of it is to absorb and adapt and evolve

if you were able to get a slight absorption speed bonus by acquiring genomes

more specifically you would get a .5 second bonus for every 2 bodies consumed, with the bonus capping off at 10 seconds at 20 bodies
