You can attach signallers to doors, but you can't attach them to APC's.
I don't think this makes much sense, since they roughly work the same anyway.
Plus it would be neat figuring out which wire causes a short power outage, to have your own break in remote and kill cameras.
Although maybe having every APC hooked up to one default signaller signal and then causing a station wide power outage could lag the server out, or just make the AI really mad.
