Igniter/Signaller assembly more than the sum of its parts

When you disassemble an igniter/signaller assembly, the components pop out of it (or teleport to it, if it's already been taken apart) but the assembly remains.

Prox sensor/signaller assemblies are not similarly broken. If you take apart an igniter/signaller then use the signaller to make a prox/igniter assembly, only the igniter pops out of the igniter/signaller assembly.

Also I think unrelated: An igniter/signaller assembly beeps twice when you signal it. Once for the signaller and once for the assembly.
