Security Camera Viewers allows you to view the station like an AI Eye
#1
Picking a camera from a list is extremely clunky and I believe it would be better to rework it to where you can enter a "VR" state to look around the station as if you were the AI eye, making looking at the cameras actually useful for monitoring the station. To prevent the AI losing interactions with security, just make it so only the AI can track via the cameras, and just like with the AI, you also can't hear anything that's being said.

It would also just be nice busywork for Sec Assistants to do, too.  Boogiebot

Too powerful imo

Yep, the AI gets to have a smooth overview as a machine intelligence that can view every camera feed at the same time and splice them together, but humans have to make do with hitting the "next" button to try to track a criminal.

Also isn't there a minimap with the camera locations that you can just click on

I do wish camera's should make a better UI and feel less janky.

But otherwise it's fine.

The new ui while smoother is a lot worse since you can't hop from cam to cam like with the old one, you *need* to use the alphabetical list. If you could actually click the cams it'd be nice but the new version atm is just a downgrade for useability.
