I suspect the list itself is relatively tight under the remit of giving people too much freedom to publicly test the fences of the Scunthorpe problem in slightly too fun a way (not that you can't do that right now, just that the station name announcement is a really good way to do that, would appear on the goonhub discord bot triggers etc) That said, I can see the list expanding with that in mind and similar restrictions that already exist, but the ones you suggested seem okay to me. 


Could be good to throw in some words from here. why? Because it would be pretty cromulent.
This is a silly, hyper-specific example but: It could be fun if using "Miraclium" in the name randomly pulls from a list of rare ones?

AHA! As one of the resident plant girls who plays captain every now and then I found a few missing things that would definitely help with some names I've been wanting to try! For example in the "Company names" "Garden Gear" is missing, which is the manufacturer of all the hydroponic equipment. And from "Country names" "Green Land" is missing.

In addition to that, some flower names would be nice too. Rose for example, I cannot fathom any horrific miss naming coming from a few flower names! (:

maybe add a suggestion box in the naming UI that goes to an admin channel on discord. they see a proposal, they give a thumbs up, any suggestion that gets 3(?) thumbs-ups without first getting three thumbs-downs is approved and automatically added to the pool of eligible words. maybe a ✅ react to force-approve it.

Can't speak for the admins, but giving them a new thing to work/approve over feels a little top-heavy (basically being another kin of thing they've gotta keep an eye on and then either put in themselves or batch together for putting them in) for what is (while deeply beloved including by me as I name the station Buttes Buttes Buttes Buttes again) a pretty tiny system, but also: I'm not an admin so they might be cool with that and if so: Yeah that'd be awesome.

A personal suggestion is that it might be fun to make it a competition: People think of some interesting potential additions etc, then at the end of that process the winning entries (plus whatever admins like) get put in. That way it's only one period of admins having to edit the code, assess entries for potential problems etc.
