Let battle royale spawn naturally

Battle royale is a pretty popular gamemode for classic nerds and would benefit from being played more, since you can often die pretty quick and the mode is good fun and practice. I think it's received enough balance PRs to be brought into the main pool of classic gamemodes, possibly the same chance or rarer as nukies?

Do mention any gripes you have with the gamemode cause I could always fix small things myself if given ideas.

i am so down for this, but i feel it should require a minimum of 5 players (AND MAYBE NOT ON SMALL MAPS LIKE ATLAS, THAT IS HELL) to be rolled. it sounds like a fun treat to roll, but it should be a bit rarer than nukies
one thing i am a bit miffed about is how fast you'll tend to die at roundstart when someone gets the first gun - perhaps increasing player HP a bit for the start, and then gradually lowering it back to normal as time goes on?

i do think its really best as admin-only. without any admin intervention then shitty playstyles would crop up easily, and people would learn the most optimal strats quickly if the gamemode was static, making it only "fun" for the top few players. on top of that, theres a lot of players who just really dont like battle royale and log out when an admin presses the button.

If it was naturally rolled, It'd be most fun if you could vote for a special round or not, like on other servers, just in case the whole lobby has an entire gimmick they wanna do, but it'd probably be pushed aside just to play BR, And it'd be most fun if it was REALLY rare, rare enough where i could go "Did an admin do this, or did it roll it?"

I dunno, Admins do it pretty often so unless there's just like a 3 month period (exaggerating) without any BR's, it'd be fun but a lil odd seeming as there's just a specific chance to roll this admin only game mode and no others

Shouldn't be balancing the game around people who don't have patience to observe for half an hour.

Battleroyale is fun as an admeme, but NOT as a standard round every so often.

I do really wish we had a dedicated "oops all meme rounds" server but I can understand the massive strain that is on our Admin team as well

I would love to see BR in the classic rotation

In general Id love to see more control or randomization for the spawning.
Right now everyone is just drops on the same tile and scrambles to wherever there are a lot of lockers.

For the player minimum Id suggest ~10 players.
A little less then nukies but still guaranteed to have some action before the shuttle is called.

People leave other round types too and there are people that have asked to be pinged for BR rounds.
If you dont like a gamemode there is always ]nextround 1.

Do admins generally have to act in BR rounds right now?
Robust players tend to win more often for sure but compared to a normal map a lot of ways to be a real nerd are removed.
The best I can think of right now would be to camp outside the station somewhere on the void tiles but if thats a concern a status effect that will gib you if you are outside too long or something similar would fix that.
