short suggestion, somewhat inspired by the ss13 webcomic Decompressed, but i think it's funny
Chaplain gets a job reward just like captain - they get to turn Faith into a crusader's sword and cheap crusader's outfit (some weak armor, but it's still armor i guess)
Perhaps a crusader will be the one to beat the Syndicate Knights...

Only if it does the least amount of damage for a sword.

I love the idea of being able to turn Faith into a comically large and comically ineffectual sword that you can also hide in a Bible just for the visual gag (especially if the sword is two-handed). The crusader armour, eeeehhhh nah.
