A new way to spread chemicals with a new spreading-chemicals-chemical (also sci-nerds mascot!) :
Glibberblob/ Globb - whatever other chems you have put in here will be transferred to the critter spawning when emptying the beaker on a floor-tile.
The glibberblob is a harmless creature that will just wander around the station and do nothing much - but once coming into contact with heat it will explode/ splash it's content in a puddle around it. --> Making the janitors life a bit more hellish - finding all those cute-little Meth-Globbs.
Touching the glibberblob might emit a coo sound or flavor-text - but for sure it will touch/ effect the chems inside to the person interacting with them
Creating a beaker with the Glibberblob-chem and spreading it via smoking will just create a bunch of smaller Glibberblob-critters acting the same as the singular variant above but with lower content amounts - depending on the chem-mix.
Foaming the Glibberblob-chem does not do much more than creating a thick slime through which the chem-mix will be deployed. Walking through it will slow down players and insert the chem-mix in the slime through a touch effect on said players - occasionally the slime will also make a coo sound or speak some flavortext. As before - heat is the slimes worst enemy! So janitors! Pack your welders!
Further ideas from the Discord chat while I was pitching it:
-Make the blleblets squeal and run away when attacked (Smaller once surviving one normal hit and the larger variant two-to-three hits. Just heat kills them instantly like a meat-cube.)
-The Chemical-Glibberblob should have a heat limit like ling-blood. Chemicals that make the blob become too hot - thus do not work if you want to see these harmless critters of scientific madness wander around in peace and harmony.
-The bigger variant of the Globb does only spawn when splashing the contents of a beaker with at least (20u-30u of Globb + Chem-Mix) onto the floor. Bigger Globbs do leave a trail of the Chem-Mix behind them. (Less than 20u but at least 5u of Globb will spawn a singular small Globb instead.)
