As of now, according to the wiki, mousetrap bombs can only be constructed with a default timer/igniter pipe bomb <testing needed>.
I feel mousetraps should have compatibility for the custom pipe bombs as well (provided the wiki is up to date), treating the mousetrap as an alternate detonation method.
Mousetrap TTVs?

If a player manually activates a mousetrap car, that player can control the mousetrap car in first person until the car crashes into a player or non-door terrain (very similar to the skateboard - in which the car is in constant motion)
