Surgically attatched face Instruments replace voice and screams

What if you could attach harmonicas/saxs/trumpets/honks to people's faces?
It would leave them unable to communicate except in musical phrases.
Trying to speak just translates your words into a kind of scat, with some little noodled thing on the instrument.
Screaming gives a blast of that instrument.
Dancing would activate the long song samples.

alternatively it could be a wizard spell?

Now, if you somehow stuffed it down their throat or removed their lungs, attached the instrument, and then replaced the lung....

Yeah would probably be awkward to sprite too. Yes, I think a throat/ vocal cords organ or lungs would be perfect. Also gives a non genetic way for removing peoples voices. Imagine a silent mindslaves with no vocal cords. Even if they are implanted they can't blabber so quickly.

Sounds like adding a new organ - the vocal cords. Should be do-able - disarm intent on the Head is free to use for surgery.

Should be a literal voice box, though. Without it, you can't speak, and if you replace it with an instrument, you gain the effects discussed in this thread.
