I recently stumbled upon this exploit by accident when trying to stack credits, and now I realize that this is applicable to any stack-able item. The glitch happens when you have a stack-able item that is less than that value of what you're holding and you attempt to stack the higher value to the lower.
It goes something like this:
1)Hand: 300 credits
Floor or Other Hand: 100 credits
2) Attempt to stack the 100 credits to the 300, but it fails, so do the opposite.
3) Now you have two stacks of 300 credits.
4) Rinse repeat to other stacks that refuse to fully stack with the higher valued stacked item.
