If you’re completely immolated, your sprite is covered in flames. If you’re not wearing protective gear (a fire suit, armored helmet, clown hat) your hair should disappear from your sprite. Would give players a reason to visit the barber shop and draft staff assistants into being hairstylists.

You do become at least partially bald from Pod fires, but other than that it does seem like something that would make sense.

Also your clothing. Also your skin, face and eyes included. Why make sense when you can make fun?
Just give barbers all hairstyles and fancy hair effects.
I sound a bit of an arse here. Good idea. I'm just tired and don't really want it.
