Pretty self-explanatory, if a mob receives a brute damage cap (possibly "overall tissue damage" check instead?) they will be completely and utterly obliterated.
This should be difficult to achieve with standard methods, for example you would never reach 1000 brute damage by just beating the damn corpse with a toolbox, so it'd require more... "unconventional" ways.
Also, it seems like "flinging a body at top speed at the wall will gib the body if it has a lot of brute" is, sadly, untrue.
