Now I know that it's not merged but I saw PR #26093 about adding a specific training for the det, and it got me thinking about some old ideas I had about detectives which could be interesting to have as part of forensic training.
Being able to estimate time of death or time since death, whichever would work better, when examining a body.
(not as sure about this one, as it relies more on crime scenes not being messed with immediately) being able to tell if the body was moved after they died
(not sure on this one as im unsure how hard it would be to implement) on examining bodies which were killed via certain fairly unique means such as being fibrewired/choked that leaving a detail the detective would notice. Also could be interesting if a detective was able to recognize deaths from certain poisons?
