catch bowling balls and knives

i think you should be able to catch bowling balls and butcher knives that get thrown at you. it would make fighting people who wield these more fun and less kind of "you are going to lose no matter what if you get hit by this"

if you do manage to catch them, it should take a great deal of stamina and make you drop the item in question

You should still take damage but, not as much. I mean, how the fuck are you gonna catch a knife? Also, how the hell are you gonna catch a high speed bowling ball? The knife should still definitely cause your hand to bleed profusely, and the bowling ball should still injure you pretty badly.
