Yup, pretty much exactly that.
Sometimes (often) I die and while I'm waiting for the round to rollover I'll click away and work/watch something else, but I'd still like to hear when the next rounds start. Most sounds are local, moving away from the station effectively mutes everything but explosions.
VOX-spam is fine, but it would be lovely to mute that shit while still in a round.
