You can use a single patch multiple times by spam-clicking self.

Thats correct iirc, but they still allow you to SCREAM A WHOLE LOT OF TIMES using an styptic powder patch.

Can confirm, I tend to spam click when nearly dying a) as a result of desperation and b) a developed habit because of the lag and I went from crit to full health on one silver sulfadizine patch.
