Using the cold steel key on a glowing wall yields the message "The glowing wall slides away!", and that's pretty much it. The glowing wall stays in place and no progress can be made, because it's a wall and you can't squeeze yourself through a wall. Probably something about unsimulated something turning into simulated whatever or something I don't know.

Huh, I thought that was just because the server had been running for hours when I tried it a little while back. I had this same bug too, it was quite annoying.
