Synopsis: So I got onto 4 as a security officer about halfway through a round, the place was in chaos, windows shattered and grilles destroyed everywhere. After pootling around for a bit trying in vain to find some gear, I headed for medbay where I found a guy (Vince Johnson) breaking a window by the door. I flashed him, which didn't work cause he had sunglasses, shot him with what I assume to be tranquiliser rounds from a tranq rifle I'd found, which also didn't work. At some point during this he grabbed a circular saw and tried to murder me with it, then with a shard of glass, then with some steel rods. When I finally got him on the floor, cuffed and grabbed, we had a chat about why he was breaking in (he was trying to clone a sec officer), he called me shitcurity and generally had a horrible attitude.

So I got him to the minibrig, took his bomb disposal suit off him cause he was an assistant and that sure as hell wasn't his, gave him two minutes with warning that "If you keep mouthing off I increase it, he kept threatening to kill me and trying to break out, I upped the sentence and then decided that with the murder threats and the shuttle five minutes away I might as well just keep him in there and escort him out in cuffs. At this point, he turned into a wizard and teleported away with little more than a "See you nerd."

So understandably a bit miffed about this, I adminhelped, asking if I'd done something wrong, explaining what happened. No response was forthcoming. He came back a minute later and crit me with a fireball, which I like to think I was more than sporting about.

Look, I'm a reasonable guy, I'm prepared to accept that I might have crossed the line dealing with Vince. I don't think I did, but I'm prepared to accept an opinion to the contrary, except from Vince himself obviously, we know what he'd say. It would have been nice if I'd actually had an opinion, rather than the guy just spontaneously sprouting robes, a beard and a bookful of flaming vendetta. He went on to murder like six other people on the shuttle, and didn't even show up in the round-end antag list. I have no idea if I was doing something wrong, or if he was hacking, or won some kind of lottery, or what. And I still don't really know what I could or should have been doing different, given the circumstances.

Look, upon further review I didn't know he was such a shitter. I just wanted to create some mutual fun and give you a reason to do more, because would you want to play through sitting outside his cell for five minutes then drag him to the escape shuttle like you told him?
