I don't believe clothing vendors have any way to be refilled currently. This means certain items like science backpacks are limited to a certain number per shift. This is an extremely niche thing that basically only effects me.
Would take adding science backpacks back to the science fabricator if gas masks being in the clothing vendor is the issue.

Eh, you've got nothing to worry about. You can get more gas masks by ordering 2 Emergency Equipment crates instead of 1 restock pack.
Side note, I'd honestly like clothing vendors to be able to work as fabricators if a specific item is out of stock and cargo doesn't want to pay 3-4k just so you can have another labcoat from medbay. This... would probably be a pain to code though.
