Maybe flushers/gravatons too, but to me they're not as bad. They can be instakill but they require other things nearby. Teleporter traps only need one tile all on their own. In the middle of a dark hallway it's not really fun. I know there's an afterglow, but by then it's kind of too late.

also make it so if you cover a teleporter with a giant photograph both the teleporter and the photograph immediately crumble to dust

I think if one person goes the extra mile to disable ALL the lights in a hallway that it should pay off.
There are flashlights at nearly EVERY corner of the station.
Hard no from me - regarding both the initial and the photograph idea.

Definite no to this. the current directional lighting already makes what you're walking into way safer than it used to be with flashlights - that plus the loud noise + teleport glow is already enough.

The loud noise and teleport glow don't really prevent you from stumbling into a teleport trap on account of it only happening after the teleport happens.
