Quite simply, make switching to the walking intent not just make you move slower, but also be harder to notice.
On the lowest level of this, reduce the noise of walking around with boots and shoes that make foot fall noises.
But I would love to see some additional base levels of stealth mechanics in this game, like lying down making you harder to see, or walking making your sprite obscured from a distance
