I don't think it's super important for the AI since they're probably paying 90% of their attention to the radio at any time, but I find I'm constantly getting distracted by killing all humans trying to accomplish things to help the station to the point that I accidentally ignore the chat from time to time and find I'm accidentally violating a law.
New laws violating my current goals are relatively rare, but there was at least one time I was (understandably) killed because I didn't notice a law change.

Shit, do it for the AI too. I've somehow missed law changes playing as the all seeing eye that's sole job is the constantly screen the chat for shit to do.

Well the point is so the AI and cyborgs are aware that their laws were changed.
It would take away the ability to subvert the AI if everyone heard it.

Yes, please god yes. Doesn't matter hoe closely you look at chat you can still easily miss a law update on a busy round, or if a random event/announcement shows up immediately after. Has happened to me, normally when I'm rogue and don't notice a reset.
