You can scan certain things with a chameleon projector to become completely invisible. I don't know for sure but someone in deadchat said it was sandwiches and handheld artifacts.

Also can you make it so examining the chameleon projector shows you what its disguise is?

Sandwiches have caused this forever, basically anything with variable sprites can come up invisible.
