Asteroid Magnet Automatic mode

So if you set asteroid magnet onto automatic mode and then get pulled inside a artifact that pulls you in but doesnt borg you (apparently you dont exist for magnet while in such artifact), then the magnet will fire up if its cooldown is over resulting in you being on asteroid when another one is being magneted. after its done you will get pitch black screen but you still can talk/suicide/etc. what the hell is that place?

Edit: apparently you warp to station z level not mining station

I assume it warps you to nowhere, much like the old cargo crate person in a pod being blown up bug would. In which case your character is literally in whats essentially debug island.
