a suggestion for space gps functionality
#1
Posted this in another thread but felt like it could stand on its own:

Add in a function for space GPSes to "find the station" like pods can.

1) Space GPSes get a cool use that actually matters

2) You can fly around space in a jetpack in a reasonable manner

3) You can still dump people forever into deep space if you rob them properly

4) You can't immediately return in the middle of combat because you gotta open up the GPS screen and select the "return to station" button. This works because it still allows people to escape conflict while also allowing people to chase.

I have never seen the pod Return to Station do anything.

That's 'cause you need to hit the button just before you fly off the z level.

Oh wow, I think you guys singlehandedly solved the mystery of that button. Generations of spacemen will be worshipping you.

(Seriously, I had no idea it worked that way and I'm fairly sure I'm not alone with this.)
