Cooking In Bulk / Efficiently
#1
i don't think this has been suggested before, but..
please, give the chef a mild sense of culinary sanity. for once.
as of right now, making custom pastries and the likes is EXTREMELY tedious as you have to do each one individually. Flapjacks & Brownies don't have this issue!
but the Cooler Stuff does, like cookies & donuts!
i'm not exactly sure how you'd go about fixing it, but with a cooking rewrite in the works this may be possible.
here are some POSSIBLE ideas:
1. some recipes just yield multiple items. simple.
2. oven trays, that let you bake multiple things at the same time if they're a single-item recipe
3. maybe rework the recipes?

honestly i'm just throwing shit at the wall until something sticks,  i just wish chefs didn't have to bake one cookie at a time

100%

I never see cooks make cookies and never do myself, cause it's just so tedious to bake 1 cookie at a time (like who does that?)

it has absolutely been suggested before and also it's not trivial to implement, just because oven code is pretty fucked

its doable but not trivial. if i were to do it (working on other stuff, so someone else pls steal):
* convert all cookie recipes to cookie dough recipes in the mixer
* using the cookie dough on a tray lays it out like brownies
* cooking that item makes a cooked tray of that cookie type
* cutting that tray pops out cookies like brownies

I've thought it would be nice to have things like trays or pots that multiple food items could be placed on, and then the whole thing goes into the oven and everything gets cooked at once, but as a separate item.

Not just cookies, but being able to cook 5 to 10 burger patties at once and then just assemble the bread by hand
