Donut 2 Singularity Suggestion
#1
Question
So this might've been suggested before or not, but Donut 2 has a somewhat terrible layout for certain areas on it, for it's only power being the singulo. Namely due to in quesiton, the areas close to it, lack any form of protection from the radiation emitted.

The areas in question are vulnerable, either due to regular glass, no blast doors, possibly even both, or other things:
The Stock Exchange (which also faces the singulo and can cause a person to be stunned by it briefly)
The Power area below it (Which, not only is regular glass possible has no blast doors)
Nerd Dungeon and to a lesser extent the Jazz Lounge (Which both have regular glass, but the Jazz Lounge is further back than the Nerd Dungeon)
North East Maintenance, whilst not visible to the singulo, near the Nerd Dungeon feels very close to it on a corner too.

As you can guess from the title, when people seek to do special singulo's or even make it large, the radiation becomes more of an issue, as the station seems to have no protection from it at all.

The suggestion is merely to help improve it, either by adding in the safeguards to affected areas, moving said areas or perhaps even making the singulo more contained and moving it?

Maybe flip engineering and mining so that the singulo is powered solely to the south of the station with nothing to affect, whilst mining is securely in the center, and the mining shuttle moved nearby?

I'm open to criticism, but from the times it's happened, it does seem to be one of the only stations to have this fault?

The reason why the singularity is in the center of donut 2 is precisely so that when it is released, it is guaranteed to hit something.

If you are so inclined, there's nothing actually stopping you from scanning the collectors with mechanics and moving the whole shebang somewhere safer in game

Fair, but it's still an issue of the potential radiation for certain areas in rounds where it could matter, such as a spy thief or gang round perhaps. If radiation from said singulo caused the areas to not be viable to deliver or so.

I'm not saying it has to move, just trying to suggest things as it feels weird to lack radiation protection from it there?

I'm not opposed to there being more radiation protection if the default size is causing issues

It is kinda funny to go into the jazz lounge and be massively irradiated
