Other people have insisted to me that space fungus in the plant tray, either applied directly or via a botanical mister, is supposed to gradually increase a plant's endurance. I have personally tested both methods and found no change in a plant's endurance over time, regardless of the original endurance stat or whether or not it's dominant or regressive, even over periods exceeding the harvest cycle and lifespan of the plant. Infusion of space fungus does work to increase a plant's endurance, albeit at the cost of damaging the seed.

Apparently the only chem that can help it (to a maximum of 0) is mutadone, at least in 2016 source.

It makes sense for space fungus to slowly increase endurance when added to a plantpot, so I'll add that!
