Just a while ago the genetic manipulator machine had its screen broken by a bomb.
After a simple glass replacement to fix the screen, suddenly the machine had decided it got bored of giving people superfarts and became a cloning computer, of course utterly useless since it didn't have a proper scanner and cloning pod attached.
The computer had sustained no damage beyond a broken monitor.
Can be easily reproduced by damaging maniuplator computer's monitor then replacing the glass.
