Yeah, getting into a pod isn't the problem for me. It's getting someone out of it before they drive off and teleport away

Pods could be a little easier/faster to build, a lot of the buiding process involves lengthy delays that seem kinda unnecessary on top of waiting for the fabricators to create the parts.

Trying to combat pods on foot is kinda pointless even with a jetpack seeing as they'll just use a wormhole to escape when their pod takes damage with no real danger of being followed.

simple idea: you can't use the wormhole a certain period after getting hit, because the pod needs to "recalibrate its positional sensors" or somesuch sci-fi mumbo jumbo.

maybe a new module could be added for wormhole creation so someone with sufficient planning to make a souped up pod could get away easier (due to a reduced, but still extant, wormhole recalibration time). The default would be kinda shitty and would make hit and run tactics with pods you just find laying around very difficult if someone can tail you.

How about different wormhole tech? Change the default one to something that requires moving several uninterrupted tiles, the current one would be an upgraded version you could get

Slightly knee-jerky due to a round earlier today, and an issue not restricted to pods, but you shouldn't be able to set off bombs and incendiaries from the safety of a pod without suffering any consequences

Not really knee-jerky; that's for features. Given it's longevity, I'd say it's probably an annoying/boring thing to fix.
