It is hackable. Still fairly unnecessary though, all things considered. A clown breaking into the kitchen and using all the flour to make cream pies isn't the end of the world, particularly since there isn't a chef on most rounds.

The fab being all access shouldn't be a problem so llong as the kitchen doors are properly access-coded. In the least, I'd say make it like the feed sabricator.
