Directional light on flashlights

It'd be pretty cool and raise tension a bit if flashlights and hard hats and such only illuminated in front of you, rather than a big ol' ball centered on you. Just put the center point of the light on a hard hat or a flashlight like two spaces ahead of you in the direction you're facing, I guess? I suppose accounting for walls would be the real tricky bit.

This would be cool, anything that makes flashlights more useful is a welcome change.
