You'd also need to consider that actually doing helpful things, such as grabbing/pulling a flaming person to safety, would probably be made more difficult if this system is implemented. Maybe give people in fire suits immunity to interacting with people who are on fire, or at the very least a heavy resistance, so people caught in a douse of hellfire can be dragged to safety.

I believe that the flames should only spread to other people ONLY when the guy on fire grabs another person and not the other way around.

The fire suit idea is good.


Alternatively, we could have somebody resprite some bed sheets into one of those emergency fire blankets and we could put dudes on fire out by throwing the blankets at them.
