OK, so right now examining yourself gives you the same thing that other people will see when they examine you. Here's my idea: Examining yourself tells you how you're feeling, like "You feel warm" for having cold resist, or "You have a headache", or "You feel drunk", that kind of thing. If you want to see what other people will see when they examine you, find a mirror and click on it when you're next to it. Obviously vampires wouldn't be able to do that.

Plus what would be really cool is if mirrors were like, photograph-sized, and showed what's in the tile next to them, direction depending on which way the mirror's facing. That might be impractical though.

Immersion, and the ability to quickly check up on your status without having to go back into the chatlog and hunt for messages like "You feel awful!" which have probably got lost in the radio chatter.

Mirrors did exist, but then they were removed.
I kinda like the idea, but only if the mirrors still have that halloween secret feature you can do which may or may not be fatal.

OR the incredibly obvious caveat of reflecting any energy weapon shot at it.

Some super robust traitor asshole getting shot at by the capt or sec? Pulls out a fucking mirror and randomly reflects their shots back at them. Sounds good, Problem is that you need to be LOOKING in their direction
