the situations where it would be useful are kinda niche. but i think itd be pretty fun. granted if the power u could buy was uncapped, money trees could just bring in a very lethal dose easily which might be a tad overpowered. also this is asking for too much but i think if the amount of power u could buy was tied to a different round where people sold PTL power, that would be super neat.

This is not a bad idea, especially for Low Pops where you might not have an engineering staff.

BUT at the same time... you only need a basic setup + solars to power a whole station for a shift.
