the objective in game is something that drive player to do some action.
for me i mostly try my best to follow it.And after player too long the objective are not matter anymore so this topic will disscuss about
1)The present Objective still good?
2)Should we add/change something?
3)what we expect from objective?

When talking about syndie objective, I love kill objective, but other objectives are eh....
"have this item and that item"
Trivial if you have mechscanner and access to many things. Limbs and organs objective sounds fun but eh, rarely shows up.
"Ensure this guy is safe"
Can't be finished if the player cryoed or logoff. It's also trivial on RP because people rarely dies. If secoff A is my target on lowpop where the other antags don't have any plans of doing anything big? Meh, that officer will mostly be alive. Interaction? Okay, you can do some creepy protective thing, but having three objective of that? Good luck.
Again, objective can be skipped, but certain objective are a bit.. eh... this doesn't make me interact with people or have to plan with my syndicate items/wizard spells/wraith things.
I do wish we have station score based objective, like "make cleanliness level below 40%" "sabotage it so that all artifact are labeled wrong"

I loved station-wide objectives some servers have. We should add those.
Engineering is to construct a MacGuffin. It needs components from science, sec guards the thing, miners are actively dying harvesting resources for it while medical is patching them up. Command commands and whacks a champagne bottle on the damn thing in the end. It gave a real sense of community and, well, teamwork.
Current goonstation rounds are a lot more segmented and open-ended, which I feel incentivizes less "tense murder mystery in space" and more "blorbo commune chatroom" style of play. Which I don't think is necessarily bad, but having something like this as an occasional gamemode could be extremely refreshing. Then again, "when I PR it" I guess.

hm so u mostly mention most objective should be interact with someone or so something in more vary i like it as well just need to make it not conflict with upper comment since gaurd objective sometime can’t work since the target cryo something like that.
