So this antag can project itself onto the station as a hologram of any creature that exists. The holograms cannot be killed at all... Except for one method that we'll get to later. The form their hologram takes is only visual and has no effects on their stats or abilities. Initially, the hologram only deals a very small amount of damage, and cannot outrun the average crew member. They grow in power by opening rifts into the virtual abyss under the corpses of players, which drags them under and turns them into a virtual anomaly which is essentially just a weaker version of the Virtual Phantom, it is still invincible and can do weak attacks but it only has one form which should be blatantly obvious, probably some glitchy mess that roughly takes the shape of a person. If the player who inhabited the corpse is DNR then it's polled to ghosts to become a virtual anomaly. As they consume more corpses, the Virtual Phantom's attacks do slightly more damage, and they move slightly faster, eventually making them an actual threat that you can't just run off from and ignore.
So, how do you stop them? Well, both the Virtual Phantom and Virtual Anomalies can travel between the station and the virtual abyss at will, which is basically a virtual dungeon with a big machine at the end which, when destroyed, kills the Virtual Phantom and the Virtual Anomalies. And how does a crew member get to the virtual abyss? Well, whenever a corpse is dragged into the virtual abyss, the rift stays there for a few seconds, allowing any daring crew member to journey inside and try to destroy the Virtual Phantom's core. Additionally, some temporary rifts will randomly appear once the virtual phantom has consumed enough corpses. While inside the virtual abyss, the Virtual Phantom and the Virtual Anomalies can be damaged and temporarily killed, before reviving at their core one minute later. They are also stronger while in the virtual abyss, and the Virtual Phantom can summon various virtual monsters to guard their core, probably with a cap that is raised with each corpse they've consumed.
Oh, and if you want to leave the virtual abyss, maybe a portal back to the station will open up once you destroy the core?
TL;DR: The exact opposite of a glass cannon.
You could also turn into people perhaps and go around doing illegal things to try and get the real version of them killed so you can get their corpse. Would be funny.
Alright guys, what do you think of my latest and greatest terrible idea of questionable quality?
