This may be an unpopular opinion but I would honestly like to see some side game modes like Pod Wars and Football added into normal rotation. I have been playing the game almost every evening for the past 3ish months and have played Football three times and have only played pod wars once just the other night. I get that the main attraction to the game is the different jobs, activities and antagonist roles but I wouldn't mind the occasional high action round to spice things up.
I do not mean that I want to see a football game every couple of rounds but if it could be weighted in some way so that it only occurs maybe with like a 1 in 100 chance or something I think that could be cool. I also get that it would be tricky to get Pod Wars to work with it being both a game mode and a map. Maybe it could be set as a map that only appears in map vote rarely or when specific conditions are met and the map could maybe be made to force the game mode into pod wars as it is setting up then set it back at round end or something.
I have little experience in coding and no knowledge of Byond or Space Station 13's code so I don't know if any of this would be easy or even possible to do but it is something that I think would be fun to see.
