Basics: Fleur Sophie Marie DeLaCreme, age 27, birthday March 3.
Role: Chef, occasionally Botanist. Curious about most other departments, but not interested in pursuing leadership of any kind.
Personality: Friendly, optimistic, and warm, Fleur’s inner drive comes from a deep sense of curiosity and the desire to take care of people. She tries to see the best in everyone, and sees serving food as an easy way to minister to the most basic needs of her crewmates. She takes pride in serving food that is creative, tasty, and makes people feel loved. When things on the station start to go wrong, she often panics and makes impulsive decisions that may or may not be helpful. It is hard to make her angry, but once angered she can lash out and be very slow to forgive.
When Traitor: Fleur has occasionally awakened as a sleeper agent for the Syndicate, or come under Syndicate influence before a shift starts. In this case, her basic desire to ensure the safety of her crewmates is intact, though it may require sacrifice to avoid the wrath of her Syndicate bosses. She is willing to step over or take advantage of people if she believes she is doing it for the greater good.
Education: Completed her basic education in France with average grades, then attended Le Cordon Rouge, a private for-profit cooking school. While she was in cooking school, Le Cordon Rouge was hit with a disgraceful lawsuit and lost its accreditation. Fleur was unable to find a job as a chef in the restaurant industry due to the backlash against Le Cordon Rouge, but was able to get a job as a chef with NanoTrasen.
Family: JF (Jean-Francois) and Bernadette DeLaCreme, younger sister Adrienne and brother Emile.
Relationships: Nothing is more important to Fleur than her relationships with her family and friends. She stays in close contact with her family in France, along with her best friend from childhood, Amelie. She was in a relationship for five years with a man named Pierre, but he wanted to stay in their hometown and settle down, and she wanted to explore. She broke up with him so they could both find happiness, and it was a painful split, but she has made peace with it. She is currently not interested in a romantic relationship due to the chaotic nature of her career with NanoTrasen and her desire to keep her job. She tries to befriend as many of her coworkers as possible, but has become especially close to a few.
