Minor Derringer suicide shot someone else

So I tried to suicide with a derringer, as you do, when something baffling happened:

Tombi Tokuro points the derringer at Tombi Tokuro!
Tombi Tokuro places the derringer against his head!
Tombi Tokuro tries to shoot himself with the derringer point-blank, but it was empty!
Tombi Tokuro fires the derringer at the space!
Tombi Tokuro hangs their head in shame because they chose such a weak gun.
Participant Drago Kitterson is hit by the bullet!x2

Drago was standing 2 tiles away and seems to have taken the bullets for me. I'm pretty sure this is not intended.

I can indeed confirm I was hit by both the bullets, though got zero of the message other than "Tombi Tokuro fires the derringer at the space!" and then being hit by both of them, and them sending me into crit, oddly enough, so I think they did the damage they would do would the shot have been pointblank
