I like the changes you proposed, the sounds could probably be reduced. Only thing i would say is to not remove the carbon dioxide gasping as it's already very hard to notice until too late

A rubber hammer that gives people empowered dwarfism/makes people shorter if you bonk them in the head (still dealing no damage), the hammer costs 7 TC as it is clearly equal in power to a C saber.

Having it deal oxy damage would barely nerf morphine, it's not really effective as a poison. It has a 8% chance to inflict 1-2 tox on overdose, it's biggest effect is the sleep and giving addictions....

Monnkestation has along it's rules some boxes to explain the context behind them and they look pretty helpful to me, not just examples of interactions, but also the reasoning behind the various rules.
