This happened to me when I was switching between two shells that were in pods, albeit not frequent or specific enough for me to tell what exactly makes it crash as I managed to switch without crashing... |

you mean switch to respective tools with number hotkeys (ie 1=crowbar, 2=screwdriver, etc)?
if not, then you can just press C to cycle through them if you use the WASD layout. |
