Floor tile hiding spots - Sord213 - 05-21-2013 You should be able to hide things under the floor tiles. Basically just crowbaring a floor tile, setting something underneath it, and putting the tile back will hide it there until you re-crowbar it. If you put more than one item it should displace the tile making it obvious that there's some stuff there, so as to not make floor closets p much worthless. I want to hide a bible under a tile and watch people get smited by it when they fart on it. Re: Floor tile hiding spots - Hard Boiled - 05-21-2013 I like this idea. Peels will be the bane of spacekind. Re: Floor tile hiding spots - david2222121 - 05-21-2013 This'd be great fun, especially if we somehow get to make pipebombs with proximity triggers rather than timers, so we can have landmines. Hell, screw pipebombs. Invisible lube-smoke traps. Re: Floor tile hiding spots - Captain_Bravo - 05-21-2013 Any tile with something underneath it should have a subtle, but visible sprite change. Also, sticking a grenade underneath should make a landmine. Imagine an assistant stepping off the arrival shuttle, and noticing that every single tile on the floor has been booby-trapped with something. Better hope they just stuck a pair of shoes under those tiles, John Q. Pubbie! Despite the fun that could be had, though, I'm fairly sure this idea has been suggested and shot down before. Re: Floor tile hiding spots - Xenonia - 05-22-2013 I think floor-closets were implemented because of a similar suggestion. |
